Nadia Chin Studio specialises in bespoke calligraphy and stationery design for weddings, private commissions and special occasions. Based in London, Nadia personally creates each item and is proficient in over 10 script styles, both traditional and modern.
With a background in architecture, art and graphic design, she takes a considered approach to every project, working closely with each client from initial concept through to final production. This includes sourcing and sampling papers and materials, creating detailed mood boards and managing every aspect of the design process, so that your vision is realised exactly as you imagined it.
Nadia and her team of skilled calligraphers and artists offer bespoke on-site personalisation for luxury brand activations, corporate events and private occasions across London and the UK. Services include live calligraphy, engraving, hand-painting and illustration, transforming your event into a lasting, memorable experience for guests.
Whether personalising products at a retail activation, creating bespoke gifts at a private dinner or adding a handcrafted touch to a wedding celebration, each piece is executed with precision and artistry. Previous clients include luxury retail brands, high-end hospitality groups and private event hosts.
Nadia teaches and hosts events and calligraphy workshops at The Greyhound, a much-loved traditional pub in Kew, Richmond that she co-owns with her friend Sarah. A stone's throw from Kew Gardens, The Greyhound provides a tranquil and beautiful environment for a day of learning.
Workshops are suitable for complete beginners through to those with some experience, covering a range of calligraphy styles in a relaxed, sociable setting. Join us for Nina’s first ever in-person Introduction to Italic class at The Greyhound in Kew, Richmond.
Nina Tran is a calligrapher based in sunny Los Angeles, California.
She was introduced to formal calligraphy in 2015 and has not put the pen down since! Her passion and enthusiasm to learn calligraphy and penmanship is what propels her to teach.
She currently teaches both in-person and online classes in Copperplate, Spencerian, Pointed Pen Flourishing, Gothic Textura & Fraktur, Gothicized Italic, Gothic Cursive, and Monoline Foundational, Italic, and Stunt Roman. She has taught for the Society for Calligraphy, Pacific Scribes, Coastal Calligraphers Guild, Michigan Association of Calligraphy, The Colleagues of Calligraphy, Ocala Calligraphy Guild, Idaho Inkspots, Society for Calligraphy & Handwriting, Letters California Style, Legacies III, The Gentle Penman, the Art of Letters, Washington Calligraphers Guild, Calligraphy Italia, Have Pens Will Dazzle, Portland Society for Calligraphy, Edmonton Calligraphic Society, West Coast Calligraphy Society, and IAMPETH.
Since 2016, she has conducted over 400 live Q&A sessions via Instagram. You can tune in every Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:00 a.m. (Pacific Time).
